Here it is...fresh out of the box. I went with a 2010 Yeti 575 Carbon frame in the Turquoise/White team colors. The frame is beautiful. I'll post some more detailed pics in the next day or two...

Just about ready to order my Yeti 575 frame

Well, I've been waiting long enough to build my 575. This coming week I plan to order a 2010 Yeti 575 in the team turquoise/white color scheme.

I haven't decided on a fork yet, but its going to be either a Fox 32 Talas or a Fox 32 Float.

More thoughts on the Yeti 575

After doing some more research, I think I am going to switch things up a little bit. I'm still going with the Yeti 575 Carbon, but instead of the least expensive "Enduro Build", I think I'm going to step up to the "Race Build", primarily because of the Shimano XT components, Fox Float 140 RLC fork, and nicer DT wheelset. This is going to cost another $600, but from past experiences, I really like Shimano XT components, and I think the lighter/stronger DT wheelset and Fox fork will be a big plus as well.

Yeti 575 Carbon purchase... let the research begin

I've been looking for an all mountain bike to mess around on when I'm not riding my Ibis Mojo XC bike. Yeti's have always been one of my favorite brands so after doing alot of research I decided the Yeti 575 Carbon would be the way to go. Initially I'm going with the Yeti 575 Carbon "Enduro Build", and then I will upgrade parts when necessary. This bike is very tough to beat at $3199.
